I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from Wheaton College Graduate School, and am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. I have pursued additional training as a Clinical Trauma Professional, including EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing); Ego State and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, and some Somatic Experiencing Therapy— all with a neuroscience informed approach.

Some of the issues people who find benefit working with me often present are anxiety, panic attacks, depression, physical symptoms that do not have a medical explanation, developmental or complex trauma, flashbacks, intrusive thoughts, being frequently and/or easily triggered, low self-esteem, struggling with shame, feeling frozen in life, difficulty in relationships in their personal life and/or at work, feeling disconnected from self and from others, issues with spirituality, and other.

I truly believe in this process, so much so that I have done the work myself, in my own life, and continue as needed. I’m a better therapist, better wife and mom, better friend, and just better human for it. There is no shame in looking inwardly and outwardly; in recognizing strengths and needs; in mourning losses and celebrating victories. (And if there is shame in that for you, you’re not the only one, and I can help you with that 🙂

I look forward to walking with you in this process!
