Hello, it’s a joy to meet you! My name is Camille Meeks and I am a graduate student intern here at Stenzel Clinical Services. I am currently pursuing my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Wheaton College. I know the courage that it takes to pursue counseling and bare deep hurts and struggles with someone you don’t know yet. Vulnerability can be scary, so I want to commend you for taking this next step on your journey of healing and wholeness.

I graduated from the University of Missouri – Kansas City with a B.A. in psychology and Spanish. My heart for counseling and my areas of interest have been shaped largely by experiences during my time in undergrad. Three things in particular stand out: working in childcare, interning as a high school mentor, and studying for one semester in Spain. These opportunities grew in me a tenderness for cultural diversity and the need to affirm the uniqueness of the individual, no matter the age. Everyone has their own story and perspective, and everyone is worthy of being seen and heard.

I aspire to create a safe, peaceful, accepting, and empathetic space that makes sharing your story a little easier. True healing will still be a challenging process, but you are worth investing in and I believe hope can always be found. I look forward to our time together. What a privilege it is to walk alongside you!
