Under the supervision of Rita Rippentrop, LCPC and Alex Goreham, LCSW

Hello! My name is Chris. I am a graduate student intern at Stenzel Clinical Services, and I’m currently pursuing my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Wheaton College.

Realizing how difficult it can be to decide to seek counseling, I respect the courage it takes to make that decision.  When life has become more of a burden than a blessing, know that you never need to experience your painful circumstances alone. It would be my privilege to learn your story and to partner with you in your pursuit of peace, hope, and wisdom for living.

My goal in every session is to create a safe space of support and encouragement, to help you face your challenges with curiosity and courage, to find the hope and healing you seek. The aim of our work together will be to discover meaning in your struggle, and purpose beyond your pain, so that you can flourish as a person, in relationships, and in life.

Ultimately, I believe you are the expert on you. My role is to help you discover your strengths, develop new skills, and deploy effective strategies to live the life you want to live. I would be honored to walk alongside you as your story unfolds in this unscripted season of your life. I look forward to taking this next step with you on your journey toward healing and wholeness!
