Life often brings many challenges, struggles, and roadblocks into our path. Sometimes we fear that our pain and suffering will never end. All of us have experienced times in our lives where we have felt stuck, without hope, and in need of someone to walk beside us and listen to our journey. My passion is to walk alongside you and help you find hope and a way forward as you pursue healing and restoration to the life you want to live.
My clinical interests and experience include eating disorders, body image, self-harm, anxiety, depression, self-worth, women’s issues, addressing family of origin and childhood issues, and bringing faith into therapy if desired. I especially enjoy working with adolescents and young adults. I have a BA from Wheaton College and a MA in Mental Health Counseling from Trinity International University.
My therapeutic approach is that of compassion, understanding, honesty, and empathy. I believe that building a honest, open therapeutic relationship of trust is the key to helping you find your way toward healing. I believe that recovery is possible and I will work with you to help you find hope, build confidence, manage triggers, and develop tools to reach your goals.
