Kristin Olenik Reid, MA Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

kristen-r-mainWelcome. My name is Kristin Olenik Reid and I am Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. I specialize in couples counseling, ministry/missionary stress and adjustment, relational issues, and trauma and abuse. As a counselor, I’ve encountered many different people with many different stories. We all have a story that has brought us to where we are today. I like to help people discover and read their stories more clearly, engaging both joy and sorrow, in order to guide them towards the transformation they desire.

I received a Masters’ degree in Counseling from the University of Wyoming in 2007, but have always been a counselor at heart. My previous experiences include eight years living overseas and twelve years mentoring college students. Before moving back home to the Chicago area, I was a counselor in Wyoming and Colorado for eight years. I have also received specialized training in trauma and abuse through the Advanced Certificate at the Allender Center in Seattle.

It is a privilege to join others as they seek growth, healing and purpose in their lives. I strive to create a safe environment where you can explore the depths of your heart and life. I look forward to working with you.
