Pamela Smith, MA Licensed Professional Counselor

I celebrate you as you take this important step in your journey of empowerment towards the change you want to see in your life. I would be honored to accompany you on that journey.

My professional interest and clinical experience focuses on multicultural issues, relationship issues, interpersonal conflict and self-esteem issues, family and parenting challenges, pregnancy and post-pregnancy challenges, anxiety and mood management, anger management, trauma and PTSD.

I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families. I strive to create a nurturing, non-judgmental, supportive therapeutic environment that encourages self-awareness, self-empowerment, and skills building that leads to positive change.

I earned my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Roosevelt University and have extensive training in Sexual Assault Crisis Intervention and Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders. I am also a NAMA Certified Anger Management Specialist II.
