Rita J. Rippentrop, MDiv Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

Hi! Welcome to Stenzel Clinical Services! My name is Rita Rippentrop and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a Masters of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary, concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy.

I have worked in the mental health field for over 20 years, as a clinician, group facilitator, conflict resolution ministry, school counselor, mental health awareness coalitions, and have held some leadership positions in community based mental health organizations. There is little I have not seen or heard! There is so much hardship and sadness in our lives, it is my belief that a season of therapy can assist us all in sorting out what life has brought to us. My approach to therapy is I want to meet you where you are, to hear your story, and participate with you in finding ways to accept, heal and grow. I will inquire more about what has happened to you rather than what is wrong with you.

I am comfortable with addressing many types of life struggles. You can see the list of areas below. If I have a specialty, it is in the area of grief and loss, in whatever form that shows up in our lives: death, divorce, job, identity, or health. I also am very comfortable with identity or spirituality struggles.

It is my desire it meet you where you are in your life’s journey and see how I main join you, providing some objective perspective and collaborate with you to determine the best course of treatment. I consider it an honor and priviledge to walk alongside of you for a season of discovery, healing and growth.
