Suzanne Clarey, MA Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

Suzanne_Frame_edited_rev1Hello! My name is Suzanne Clarey and I specialize in issues related to grief and loss, depression, anxiety, adjustment and relationship difficulties. I strongly believe in the importance of creating a safe, non-judgmental, and nurturing therapeutic environment.

I have a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. I have over 16 years experience working with children, adolescents, college students and adults.

I work with a therapy dog named Tali. Tali is present during every counseling session.  Therapy animals have been proven to reduce stress hormones and have other anxiety and depression reducing advantages.  Tali eagerly greets each client upon entering the private counseling room (and she may even give you her toy).  She has her own bed on the floor, but you can invite her to sit next to you on one of the couches if you prefer.  During the session clients can interact with Tali as much or as little as they would like, and she often quietly sleeps in her bed for much of the session.

I work from a Christian world view in the counseling room. I truly look forward to partnering with you.
