For over five years, Stenzel Clinical has built a special connection with Feed My Starving Children (FMSC), a Christian non-profit hunger relief organization that ships hand-packed meals specifically formulated for malnourished children to nearly 70 different countries. Earlier this month, Stenzel Clinical hosted a packing event, where about 40 volunteers helped fill boxes with 8,640 meals.
Grant Stenzel also had the opportunity to see FMSC in action when he traveled to Haiti with them earlier this month. Grant returned inspired and encouraged to make a difference. He realized the money he spends going out to eat each month could be contributed and positively impact FMSC. He has challenged himself to spend 21 days, beginning on October 6th, eating only the FMSC MannaPack Rice. In addition to a separate donation, he will donate the money he saves from not going out to eat to the organization.
Grant is also challenging others to consider skipping a night out or a morning coffee (or two) in October. The money saved will add up quickly, with even a small donation to FMSC making a huge impact. Stenzel Clinical’s goal is to raise $50,000 in the month of October and we have already received over $20,000 in pledges.
