Depression Counseling
Depression is one of the most common issues our clients seek counseling for. Feeling sad at times is a part of life, but depression is more than that. If you’re struggling with low mood or an aversion to activity that interferes with your ability to function or go about your daily life, then you’re probably more than sad. Some of the common symptoms of depression are:
- Inactivity
- Losing interest in things you previously enjoyed
- Difficulty concentrating
- Trouble sleeping OR sleeping too much
- Feelings of dejection or hopelessness
- Suicidal thoughts (Suicide Prevention Lifeline 1-800-273-8255)
Depression might make you feel alone, but there is always hope. It’s highly treatable and there are many routes you can take to be well again.
