Congratulations, you have made a courageous step in furthering your journey towards health; you are considering counseling!
My name is Ellie, and I am a graduate student intern here at Stenzel Clinical Services. I have a B.A. in Psychology from Taylor University, and I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Wheaton College.
Counseling can be very intimidating and vulnerable; I would be honored to have the opportunity to walk alongside you in moments of joy and valleys of sorrow. I know firsthand how rewarding and challenging counseling can be and believe that we all can benefit from seasons in counseling. I seek to build authentic and trusting relationships with my clients to foster growth and healing. People are created as relational beings, longing to be known and accepted. My hope as a counselor is to be a source of support in your life.
As a holistic counselor, I aim to integrate many techniques best suited for each unique individual I journey with in counseling. You are so much more than a diagnosis or issue, and I desire to hear your story and meet you where you are. I believe all experiences in our lives, even our wounds, have the capacity to flourish into beautiful stories of courage and strength.
