Divorce is difficult for children of all ages, but can be especially difficult for teenagers. A significant event, like a parent’s divorce or separation, can have a major effect on a teenager during this time in their life.

It is helpful for teens to have support in place to help them process their experience. A support group like this allows teenagers the opportunity to come together and connect with other teenagers who are having a similar experience.

This 8-week group is for adolescents, male and female, ages 14-18, who have been affected by separation and divorce.

In this group teenagers will have an opportunity to: share their story and learn from the experience of others, talk about the range of emotions (anger, sadness, guilt & stress), and discover how to deal with the change and move forward.
