Forgiveness: Finding Healing Six-Week Program to Learning Forgiveness
When you have been hurt or wounded by a difficult transgression, it can be hard to forgive. Through this six-week course, we will learn to forgive more thoroughly by aligning our hearts with God’s forgiving heart.
The “Forgiveness: Finding Healing” workshop will help each of us become a more forgiving person by focusing on a single hurt and learning a method of forgiveness that can be applied to others.
- Explore why we want to forgive
- Learn the two kinds or forgiveness – decisional and emotional
- Use experiential learning methods such as Scripture exploration, art, group discussion, and more
- Explore the balance of our work and God’s work in the forgiveness process
We will be learning to forgive using the five-step REACH program developed by Christian psychologist Everett Worthington, PhD.
This group is led by Cara Jones, M.A., LCPC, BCPCC, who holds a clinical license as a Professional Counselor with additional certifications in Christian Counseling and brain health.
This six-week program runs on Thursdays 7:30PM – 9:00PM, October 1 – November 5, 2015. The total registration price is $310.
If you’re interested in attending, please register directly with Cara Jones via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or phone at 630-588-1201, ext. 313.
We look forward to walking with you through the process of forgiveness.
