Hi, I’m glad you’re here. I know reading through bios and choosing a counselor can be overwhelming, I’ve also been in moments of my life when I was searching for help, and it can be quite challenging. I hope that what I share with you may help with a decision.

In a difficult time, I remember being stuck in my own mind and feelings, for years cycling through pain that I didn’t know how to name or escape from. Counseling was the space where I learned that I didn’t have to carry this pain alone, and that the weight could be shared, understood, and transformed. That experience changed me, and it was one of the things that drew me to become a counselor.

I believe our emotions and behaviors often carry stories that want to be heard and not judged. That we may feel it’s safe to share. I believe that we can explore those layers with curiosity and compassion. I work from a trauma-informed, experiential, and systems perspective, drawing from approaches like Internal Family Systems, Existential and Phenomenological Psychology, Classical and Ericksonian Hypnotherapy.

I’m currently completing my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Wheaton College (IL), however, I’ve been working as a counselor for more than 10 years in Brazil and the middle-east with people in high-risk, high-mobility environments; From tribal leaders in warring countries, to religious ministers in the frontlines of service; to the precious men and women I had the honor to walk with. It would be an honor for me to walk with you in counseling and I look forward to hearing from you! Take care.
