Courtney is a licensed clinical social worker serving clients in our Naperville and Wheaton offices, seeing clients both in office and virtually (telehealth). Courtney works with adolescents and adults throughout the lifespan in a client-centered approach. Courtney has a clinical background working with patients hospitalized for psychiatric disorders and is currently on staff at a local hospital. Courtney holds a professional endorsement as a school social worker and has worked with students in the education system from ages PreK through high school. Other areas of practice have included working as a certified alcohol and drug counselor, partner abuse intervention professional (domestic violence), and marriage and family work. Courtney is a US Army Veteran and was trained in post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injuries, and redeployment (family reunification) in the military. Courtney works with each client to develop unique treatment plans and draws upon modalities such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Faith-based counseling upon request. Outside of the counseling office, Courtney enjoys spending time with her family, going on local outdoor adventures, and practicing self-care.
