became a counselor in 2004 and have since worked as a therapist and social worker serving children, teens and families in the community and school setting. I have a Bachelors degree in Family Studies from Central Michigan University and a Masters in Counseling/Marriage and Family therapy from Western Michigan University.

I bring to the counseling session a warm and open space to discuss the areas of your life where you are feeling “stuck”. I aim to tailor sessions to the unique needs and interest of the client.

If anxiety and depression are affecting your enjoyment of life, I am experienced to support you. I am also particularly passionate about family issues and relationship struggles and welcome the chance to work through these challenges with couples and families. For those who wish to incorporate their Christian faith into their therapy work, I happily offer Christian Counseling.

I am trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (an eye movement therapy that has evolved from EMDR) which has been used to treat post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety and phobias with success after just a few sessions.
