Hello, my name is Katia Hiestand. I am an intern here at Stenzel Clinical Services. I received a BA in Psychology from Northwest Nazarene University and am pursuing an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Wheaton College. Therapy is a huge step and the courage to move towards healing, further exploration, and understanding is one that deserves major recognition. I believe that every human being will encounter pain, loss, grief, and/or trauma at some point and it’s so important to have support. I am honored when invited into this journey of therapy with people and seek to hold a safe and secure space for you as we build trust and foster growth. My approach is one of holistic collaboration. I wish to meet you where you are and help you gently engage in the difficult places of your life while also enthusiastically celebrating your victories throughout our time together. I look forward to the opportunity to walk alongside you.
