When life gets messy, it is an opportunity to grow. Nevertheless, it takes courage to initiate something new. Coming to therapy may not be easy. But if you do, I would consider it a privilege to get to hear your unique story and walk alongside you. I love listening, helping process, problem solving, encouraging and supporting others on their journeys to wholeness. Moments I’ve had successfully doing these things are some of my favorite things in life.

My husband and I lived in SE Asia for over twenty years working for a Christian non-profit organization which resulted in us moving house over twenty times as well! Therefore, I am very familiar with transition issues and starting over! I also have extensive experience working cross-culturally with all kinds of diversity. This has helped me learn to appreciate that each person has a unique story which has made them who they are. I focus on the strengths of my clients to help them move forward in healthier ways. Curiosity about what can bring change to another’s reality is passion. I believe that every person/couple/family can find the resources necessary to move forward. There is always hope.

I have been married since 1989 and have four children, ages 19 to 28. So I have experienced both many challenges and joys in my own marriage & family relationships. But, through it all, I’ve come to see that prioritizing growth from the challenges is always worth the effort.
