Hi, there! Let’s start with some facts. Did you know – the greatest protective factor of child and teen mental health is secure attachment with a nurturing parent? Moreover, a thriving, secure marriage is the most significant protective factor for healthy family relationships. Overall, healthy relationships improve life satisfaction, help moderate and cope with physical and mental illnesses,
and empower accomplishment beyond what anyone can achieve alone.
Young or old, married or single, we all have experiences of family that help us understand who we are, make choices about who we will be, and find direction in life. Unfortunately, these experiences include breaks in relationships. Having good repair skills is an essential part of maintaining healthy familial relationships that support physical and mental well-being.
That is why I love being a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. My passion is helping equip others with healthy relational skills, easing pain points, and navigating changing circumstances that challenge intimate and familial relationships throughout a lifetime.
If you’ve been getting stuck in patterns of poor connection, destructive behavior, mental struggle, big feelings, numbness, or stress, relational health offers the opportunity to disrupt the cycle! You may not have the answers or energy to seek out the changes you need by yourself, but you may find hope in discovering how accepted, unique, and valuable you already are. Therapy is a process of creation, education, acceptance, and curiosity together. I believe authentic expression, personal growth, and interpersonal connection can powerfully impact stuck cycles to help you create change.
I am a former NCAA swimming medalist, llama farming hobbyist, world traveler, average person at the grocery store, and beloved daughter of Jesus Christ. It’s my privilege to join individuals, couples, and families on their journeys to mental, emotional, and relational wellness; I’d be delighted to help you take your next step.
