This will be a 6-week group for 8-12 students between the ages of 11 and 13. Each group session will focus on various social skills, and incorporate an activity to practice and time to process while building group cohesion. Topics covered: starting social conversations, listening skills, exploring common interests, empathizing and viewing situations from alternate perspectives, collaboration, and conflict resolution.
The group will be facilitated by Lauren Bose, LCSW, and Jeffery Elliott, LPC, and co-facilitator Master’s Level Intern
